CRAZY OLD WORLD

Crazy old world
calling you down.
Lazy old swirl of
Milky Way's whirl
spinning you round
down the black hole.

Then up jumps Johnnie,
doing "yes, my honey."
They call him our hero
like "love minus zero."

Betrayed, doing a rave,
homeland to grave.
Watts' wisdom urges
insecurity for all.
So who's that brave?

We had us a grand time
in this American land,
Franklin and Jefferson,
liberty and justice
one and for all.

Darker angels
dance now
in the palaces
of promise.
Darker nights
now must
be fall us.

So let's call
friends and foes,
to shed sins
and make
wrongs right,
banish misfortune,
cast away fright.

The crescendo proclaims:
"Estoy viviendo un sueño,
por la vida y no la muerte"
